Spurge
Spurge is a type of fast-growing weed that can quickly become a problem if not treated. This annual summer weed grows low to the ground and spreads fast. The earlier you catch this weed growing in your lawn, the quicker you can control it.

Nutsedge
Nutsedge is prevalent during periods of rapid summer growth as it outcompetes heat-challenged lawn grasses for water and nutrients. Bright yellow-green leaves stand out clearly against turf, as do the dark green leaves of its purple relative. Left to grow tall, nutsedges produce distinctive spiky flower clusters most commonly called burrs.

Crab Grass
Crab Grass, commonly known as a weed grass, Digitaria sanguinales, that roots vigorously from the lower stem joints and grows in thick patches on lawns and uncultivated areas. This is a very common weed grass and does not respond to everyday weed killer. Left untreated, it will take over your entire lawn.

Ground Ivy
Ground ivy is a perennial broadleaf weed that invades through aggressive stolons that ‘creep’ below the turfgrass canopy. It forms very dense, mat-like patches that effectively crowd-out the surrounding turf.

Dollar Weed
Dollarweed (Hydrocotyle spp.), also known as pennywort, is a warm-season perennial weed. It gets the common name, dollarweed, from its silver–dollar-shaped leaves. The leaves of dollarweed are round, bright green, fleshy, and look like miniature lily pads measuring 1-2” in diameter with a scalloped edge.

Virginia Button Weed
Virginia buttonweed (Diodia virginiana) is a mat-forming perennial that thrives in poorly drained areas or under excessively moist soil conditions in lawns. Leaves are lance-shaped and dark green. This is a very difficult weed to control once it is established in ornamental grass and flower beds.
